Frequently asked questions
How do I create a tournament?
Tap the red + button, pick a game, give your tournament a name, choose the format and match length, select at least two players and tap Build bracket.
Why is the "Build bracket" button disabled?
The button unlocks once you have picked a game and selected enough players. The hint above the button tells you what is still missing.
How do I add or remove players?
Open the Players tab and tap Add player. You can also type a name in the Add a player field while creating a tournament. Tap a player chip to include or exclude them from the current tournament.
What's the difference between single and double elimination?
In single elimination a player is out after one lost match. In double elimination players drop to a losers' bracket after their first loss and are only eliminated after a second loss.
How does seeding work?
By hand lets you order players yourself, Random shuffles them, and Past results seeds players based on how they performed in previous tournaments, so top players meet as late as possible.
I entered a wrong score. Can I fix it?
Yes. Use the undo arrow at the top of the bracket screen to revert the last result, or tap the match again to edit the score.
What happens with an odd number of players?
The app automatically gives byes to the top seeds so the bracket stays balanced.
Will I lose my tournaments if I delete the app?
Your players and tournaments are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes that data, so it cannot be recovered afterwards.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. You can create and run tournaments without signing up.
